Understanding Cancellation Policies for Professionals

Cancellation policies determine how early or late a client can cancel their appointment without incurring a penalty. These policies are designed to provide clarity and fairness for both you and your clients.

Why Cancellation Policies?

  • Guaranteed payment. Regardless of the chosen cancellation policy, if a client does not show up for a scheduled consultation, you will receive your full professional fee (minus Gigant charges).
  • You will NOT be paid if you cancel or do not show up for the consultation. The client will be refunded.

Lenient Cancellation Policy

Cancel >24 Hours

If clients cancel 24 hours before the appointment or if you cancel at any time, they get a full refund.

Cancel >3 Hours

You'll get 50% of your fee (minus Gigant charges) if your client cancels between 24 and 3 hours before the appointment.

Cancel <3 Hours

You'll get 100% of your fee (minus Gigant charges) if the client cancels within 3 hours or doesn't show up for the appointment.

Moderate Cancellation Policy

Cancel >72 Hours

If clients cancel 72 hours (3 days) before the appointment or if you cancel at any time, they get a full refund.

Cancel >24 Hours

You'll get 50% of your fee (minus Gigant charges) if your client cancels between 72 hours (3 days) and 24 hours (1 day) before the appointment.

Cancel <24 Hours

You'll get 100% of your fee (minus Gigant charges) if the client cancels within 24 hours (1 day) or doesn't show up for the appointment.

Strict Cancellation Policy

Cancel >168 Hours

If clients cancel 168 hours (7 days) before the appointment or if you cancel at any time, they get a full refund.

Cancel >72 Hours

You'll get 50% of your fee (minus Gigant charges) if your client cancels between 168 hours (7 days) and 72 hours (3 days) before the appointment.

Cancel <72 Hours

You'll get 100% of your fee (minus Gigant charges) if the client cancels within 72 hours (3 days) or doesn't show up for the appointment.

*An appointment is considered cancelled when either you or your client confirms cancellation through the appointments page’s cancellation menu.

All users of this website and other services of Gigant agree that they shall have a 48-hour period from termination of the last interaction through this website within which to raise any and all concerns or complaints to Gigant, and agree that concerns or complaints not raised within this period are waived. All parties agree to abide by the decision of Gigant on the said concerns or complaints as final and binding, and waive any further remedy otherwise available under law.
